Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use balchikitsa.com ("Bal Chikitsa", "the website") run by Dr. Dipesh Raj Manhar, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. By creating an account or using paid features you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Medical Disclaimer.

1. What Bal Chikitsa is

A set of reference and calculation tools for Ayurvedic paediatric practice: dose calculators, growth assessment, vaccination schedule, developmental milestones, an OPD manager and report tools. It is an educational and decision-support aid for qualified practitioners, students and informed parents. It is not a medical device and does not give medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. See the Medical Disclaimer.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or older. Give correct information and keep your password private.
• You are responsible for activity under your account. One account is for one person; do not share paid access.
• If you choose the Vaidya role, you confirm that you are a qualified Ayurveda practitioner or student and that the details you give (qualification, position, state, college or clinic, registration number) are true. We do not check them at sign-up, but we may ask for proof of registration and may withdraw access if the statement is untrue.

3. Plans and payment

• Prices are in Indian Rupees. The amount shown at checkout is the amount you pay.
• A paid plan gives access for the period you bought (30 or 365 days) from the payment date. It does not renew automatically and we never charge you again without you choosing to pay. When the period ends, your account returns to Free. If you renew while the plan is still active, the new period is added after the current one.
• Payments are made through Razorpay. The plan is normally activated within a minute. If it is not, see the Refund Policy.
• We may change prices or plan contents for future purchases. A plan you have already paid for keeps its terms until it expires.

4. Acceptable use

• Use the tools lawfully and for their intended purpose.
• Do not copy, scrape, resell or redistribute the drug database, calculators or other content, and do not try to bypass plan limits or access other users' data.
• Do not upload unlawful content or data you have no right to enter, including a child's data without guardian consent.
• We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or misuse the service.

5. Your content

Prescriptions, reports and other records you save remain yours. You allow us to store and process them only to provide the service to you. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping your own copies.

6. Our content

The software, design, text, compiled drug database and calculators are the work of Bal Chikitsa. Classical Ayurvedic and published clinical references remain the property of their respective sources and are used for educational reference. Your payment gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use the service, not ownership of any content.

7. Accuracy and availability

We work to keep the information accurate but it may contain errors or become outdated. You must verify every dose against your own clinical judgment and the product label before use. The service is provided "as is". We try to keep it available but cannot promise uninterrupted access.

8. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Bal Chikitsa and Dr. Dipesh Raj Manhar are not liable for any loss or harm arising from treatment decisions made using the tools, or for indirect or consequential loss, data loss or service interruption. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

9. Ending your account

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). Closing an account does not by itself entitle you to a refund.

10. Changes, law and disputes

We may update these terms and will change the date above; continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under consumer protection law.
